In Memory of David Berman
...
I met Dave for the first time at the 2000 NPC Northern States Championship in CT, despite being judged by him for years beforehand. I was a competitor at that event and NPC NH judge Danet Seely brought him over to me so we could meet as she knew I wanted to start promoting NPC sanctioned events. I immediately test judged the NPC New England Championship and started working at nearly all of the events in New England. Over the few years I worked with him, I learned his love of bodybuilding and learned the ins and outs of competition production and judging. Upon his passing, I did my best to step in as NPC Chairman. I thank Dave for giving me my start in the organization side of bodybuilding.
